So here I am, three weeks later, blogging about our Easter weekend in Ohio. I have been running low on energy lately. I am hoping it's pregnancy related. If it's simply the fact that I am taking care of two energy bundles, then I have some crazy years ahead of me. Whatever the cause - when deciding between a nap or updating our blog, the nap has been undefeated. :)
Happy # 31 Dave!
We did have a lot of fun in Ohio. Dave turned 31 that weekend, finally. I am 6 months older than him. So for half of the year I hear over and over again how much older I am than him. Happy # 31 honey - welcome to the club. We decided to surprise him with his favorite cream-filled cupcakes. I haven't ever tasted these things. They are "death to Sara" dairy everything. According to the Chupp family they are like nothing else. The process is also like nothing else - a whole day affair. I guess it was a labor of love.

The HuntOf course we dyed eggs. Morgan had fun with that and Adrienne wasn't about to miss out on the action. Later that day Morgan, Adrienne and their cousin Grace had the traditional Easter egg hunt. They all had so much fun. Even Adrienne loved walking around holding the eggs.

Adrienne has never liked holding hands. I guess she is too independent. So it was priceless when Grace got her to walk around holding her hand.
KittensSarah and Steve discovered kittens in their shed several weeks ago. They are old enough to hold now, so of course we had to visit them. Morgan loved it and did a really good job of holding them gently without squeezing them. Adrienne was more of a squeezer, as you can see from the picture. They were both thrilled to see and pet the kittens. Better at their house then mine. :)

Easter Dresses
Can anyone explain to me why Easter outfits are such a big deal. I didn't lose any sleep over it. However, I have to admit I put some thought in to it. As a mom there are so many things that you have to just "let go". 1. Adrienne screamed and tried to pull off every shoe that I put on her so she ended up wearing her Robeez with her Easter dress. 2. I would have loved to have a nice picture of our family from Easter Sunday. I would have settled for one of just the girls. They weren't so interested. I guess I should get used to it. The more we add to the bunch the harder it will be to take a picture. So this is the best that I could get. If this is my biggest problem then I guess life is pretty good! :)
