Sweetcorn Charlie

A couple of days ago we made our first trip of the season to the wonderful Sweetcorn Charlie stand. Morgan was excited from the first mention of eating corn on the cob and it didn't take long for Adrienne to catch on.

What a great part of summer!

The girls had fun "helping" me clean the corn.
Recently Morgan has become interested in taking pictures. She often follows me around with her toy camera (one of my old cameras) saying "Look at me Mommy - say cheese." When I was taking pictures outside she said she wanted to take some pictures. I decided to let her try. So this picture of Adrienne and me was one of the ones she took. Not bad huh?

Adrienne got right to work and actually did a really good job with it. Today when we went back to the stand for more corn she was excited at the sight of the familiar bag of corn.
She catches on quick!
Morgan remembered this treat from last summer. As you can see she was only slightly excited to finally have the golden ear of sweetcorn in her hands.
I had to include this just to document, once again, that Adrienne is truely a little stinker. :) She knew she wasn't supposed to eat off the end, but she kept acting like she was going to eat it simply to get a reaction out of us.
